Long Weekending for my 25th Birthday!
Well, my age finally caught up with my quarter life crisis yesterday and I officially turned 25! I was expecting tears and a terrible feeling of getting older, but it wasn’t so bad. I had an awesome weekend celebrating with good friends and loved ones!
Saturday night, I went with Jeff, my parents and my best friend Christina to a Slueths Mystery Dinner Show. The show was HILARIOUS and the food was really good! I’ve been dying to go for a while and I highly recommend it for anyone who lives in or is visiting Orlando. We all loved it!
Sunday, we met up with friends downtown for brunch, one of my favorite Sunday activities 🙂 Afterwards, it was a movie and hot chocolate kind of day!
Monday was my actual birthday so I took the day off from work. Jeff took me where any big kid (like me) would choose to spend their birthday: Disney World! We went drinking around the world at Epcot and then had an amazing dinner at the Yachtsman’s Steakhouse!
It was a perfect weekend and I’m feeling so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life and experiences I’m blessed to have. I couldn’t have a asked for a better few days!
I’ve been thinking about what changes I want to make this year and I really need to focus on taking care of myself…I can’t survive on solely wine and pizza anymore! So I want 25 to be the year of self love and balance. I want to focus on getting on a good sleeping schedule, having an exercise routine, meal planning, eating clean, setting aside nights to pamper myself, taking quiet time and learning to say no sometimes when I really need to stay in and rest or prepare for work…you know, all that adulting stuff! I don’t want everyday to be exactly the same but I must be getting older because the idea of settling into more routines is actually something I’m looking forward to! On the other hand, I think I will have some big changes this year with taking on more at work and planning a wedding!!
I think 25 is going to go down in the books as a fantastic year and it’s off to a great start! <3
Linking up with Biana for Weekending!
